Investment Safeguards
Unit trusts are not as risky as investing in the stock market yourself.
This is because of the following reasons.

The fund shall not invest more than 10% in non-trustee stocks.
A minimum of 10% of the total value of the fund must be in liquid assets.
The investment in any group of listed companies shall not exceed 10% of the value of the fund.
The investment in any company shall not exceed 10% of the total fund value, or 10% of the Net Asset Value or Paid-Up Capital of the selected company (whicever is lower).
